ITINERARY
DAY 01 : ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU (1400 meters )
Upon your arrival at TIA international Airport , be welcomed & received by
us. Be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
DAY
02 : EXCURSION IN KATHMANDU & BHAKTAPUR
Conveniently after the breakfast,
proceed for an excursion to the heritage sites of Boudhanath Stupa ( the
biggest Buddhsit shrine in the dome structure, in the world ) & Pashupatinathji Temple ( the famous Shiva
Shrine with the holy cremation river bank).
Then continue your excursion to the
Bhaktapur Durbar Square ( the medieval palace with 55 similar windows
and the famous golden gate, the sunken royal bath tank, the tallest pagoda
style “Nyatapola” temple of Nepal etc ). Return to hotel. Overnight at hotel in
Kathmandu.
DAY
03 : DRIVE TO BHAIRAHAWA / LUMBINI
Conveniently after the breakfast,
proceed for a driving trip (315 km/9 hours) to Lumbini (birth place of Gautam
Buddha ), the 7th mortal Buddha, the apostle of peace, who was born in 624
BCE). Upon arrival in Lumbini, be transferred to your hotel. Evening free at
your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Lumbini.
DAY
04 : EXCURSION IN LUMBINI SACRED TEMPLE
& GARDEN
Today
take a full day excursion at the Lumbini garden , the first visit being
the Mayadevi Temple ( the shrine that
marks the first foot print of Gautam Buddha at the time of his birth) also
explore the world class Buddhist monasteries all built in and around the holy
LUMBINI GARDEN AREA. One of the most
beautiful international Buddhist monasteries is the German Monastery which is
accessible via a few minutes rickshaw ride from the main entrance gate to the
holy garden area. Return to hotel. Overnight in Lumbini.
DAY
05 : DRIVE TO KATHMANDU
Conveniently after the breakfast,
proceed for the driving trip back to Kathmandu ( 166km / 5.5 hours). Upon
arrival in Kathmandu be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in
Kathmandu.
DAY
06 : DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU
Conveniently after the breakfast, be timely
checked out from your hotel and get transferred to the TIA International
airport with our assistance, for your flight to the onward destination. Farewell to Nepal.

NEPAL TOURIST VISA
-- The “Tribhuvan International Airport “ ( TIA ) is the only international
airport of Nepal from where the Immigration Office
grants the Tourist Visa on Arrival for the tourists
flying to Nepal .
-- Though you can expect some queues
during peak Tourist season, the “On Arrival ' visa procedure is very quick and
simple.
-- If you wish to skip those queues, you
can also consider getting Visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions stationed
abroad prior to your arrival.
-- If you have obtained visa from
Nepalese Diplomatic Missions in abroad , then you must enter Nepal within six
months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the
day you enter into Nepal.
-- Visas obtained on Arrival at the
Entry and Exit points are 'Tourist Visas'.
They bear multiple Re entry facility. Tourist Visa 'On Arrival' is the
only entry visa to Nepal.

Visa Extension Fee ::
-- Tourist
visa extension is done for minimum 15 days with USD 45 and USD 3 per day for
additional days. In the case of
delay less than 150 days additional
USD 5 per day as late fine.
-- Contact Department of Immigration for
extending your visa or changing the category of your visa.
-- Tourist Visa extension can be done
from Immigration Office, Pokhara too.
-- Non tourist visa extension can be
done only at Department of Immigration (if eligible) for a period of maximum
one year

-- If you are visiting Nepal for the
purposes other than Tourism (sightseeing, tour, travel, mountaineering,
trekking,
visiting friends and families), you
should still get ' Tourist Visa' to get into the country. However, you must change

Nepal from Department of Immigration by producing

About
This Tour :- This is a combined trip of Kathmandu City and
Lumbini village. The trip offers a thorough
excursion of the UNESCO cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu and Lumbini - the historical
birth place of lord Shakyamuni Buddha (624 BCE).
The sacred garden in Lumbini (7.5 Square
km) proudly hosts the sacred Mayadevi Temple, along with the ruins of “ancient
monasteries”, a sacred “Bodhi tree” (
Ficus religiosa) , an ancient bathing pond “Puskarni ” and the
“Ashokan pillar”. The temple exhibits the holy “nativity stone” bearing the
foot print of lord Shakyamuni Buddha.
As per the master development plan designed by a renowned Japanese architect
Mr. Kenzo Tange, Lumbini has been developed as a - “ New Lumbini Village with the Cultural
complex through the Central Link and then the Monastic Zone “ - before finally
reaching the Sacred Garden through a water
canal.
The holy site of Lumbini is bordered by a large
international monastic zone in which only monasteries can be built, no shops,
hotels or restaurants. It is separated into an Eastern and Western monastic
zone by the water canal, the Eastern having the “Theravadin Monasteries”, the
Western having “Mahayana and Vajrayana Monasteries”.
The long water filled canal separating the western
and eastern zones, with a series of brick arch bridges joining the two sides
along the length is serviced by simple outboard motor boats at the north end
which provides tours.
From early morning to early evening, pilgrims &
the monks from various south east Asian countries perform chanting and
meditation at the site. This is also a natural habitat for a migrating
Saiberian white crane.
At the end of this tour, you will be driven back to Kathmandu from where you
will take your return flight towards your home town, along with a sweet
memories of your comfortable stay with the Nepalese hospitality.
