I T I N E R A R Y

DAY 01  :  ARRIVE IN NEW DELHI 

Arrive at IGI Airport in New Delhi. Be welcomed and received by our  tour representative and get transferred to hotel. After check into hotel you will be briefed on tour program. Balance of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Delhi. 

DAY 02  :  DRIVE  TO  MANDAWA  &  EXCURSION   

After  breakfast , morning drive to Mandawa ( 259 km/ 6 hours ). Upon arrival check into  hotel. Afternoon, tour of city.  Visit some of the havelis. Overnight at hotel in Mandawa.

DAY 03  :  DRIVE TO BIKANER 

After  breakfast , drive to Bikaner ( 192  km / 3.5 Hours). On arrival check into  the hotel. Balance  of  the day is free at your leisure.  Overnight at hotel in Bikaner.

DAY 04  :  EXCURSION IN BIKANER 

After breakfast, morning visit  Junagarh Fort containing ancient palaces, temples and a mosque. Also visit the Deshnok Karni Mata Temple. Return to hotel . Overnight at hotel in Bikaner.

DAY 05 : DRIVE  TO  JAISALMER 

After breakfast , morning  drive to Jaisalmer ( 331 km / 6 Hours ) ,  one of the most exotic and remote desert town in India. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Balance of the day is at your  leisure . Overnight in Jaisalmer.

DAY 06 : EXCURSION IN  JAISALMER 

After breakfast, morning visit the “Jaisalmer Fort “  perched high on a hill with its 99 bastions and seven-storey palace. In the evening continue  an excursion to Sam Sand Dunes, part of the barren desert that stretch to the Pakistan border, to enjoy beautiful sunset across this nomad's land. Overnight at hotel in Jaisalmer.

DAY 07 : DRIVE  TO  JODHPUR  &  EXCURSION 

After breakfast , morning drive to Jodhpur ( 281 km  / 5 Hours ), the Sun City. Upon arrival check into the hotel . In the afternoon explore Jodhpur once the capital of Marwar, situated in the heart of thar desert. Visit the massive  Mehrangarh Fort, filled with courtyard, palaces and museums, constantly reminding you of the city's glorious past. Overnight at hotel in Jodhapur.

DAY 08 :  DRIVE  TO  UDAIPUR  &  EXCURSION  

After breakfast, morning drive to Udaipur ( 244 km / 6 Hours ). Upon arrival check in to the hotel.  Later in the afternoon, proceed for an interesting tour in Udaipur, enjoy a scenic sunset cruise on Lake Pichola as you pass by numerous island palaces, gleaming in the sun, reflecting an era of pomp and glory. Return to hotel and overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 09 : EXCURSION  IN UDAIPUR  

After breakfast, proceed your day with a visit to the vast and exquisite City Palace of Udaipur and its museum, followed by Jagdish  Temple and Sahelion Ki Bari . You will have the balance of the afternoon time to explore the local market place in Udaipur. Return to hotel and overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 10 :  DRIVE  TO  PUSHKAR 

After breakfast , proceed for the morning overland journey to Pushkar ( 279 km / 5.5 hours ) . On arrival check into the hotel.
Later, take an excursion to the Pushkar Lake.  [ This lake is believed to have been created by God Brahma himself. There are about 400 temples and 52 Ghaats in Pushkar which are located on the banks of the Pushkar Lake. The only temple of Lord Brahma is situated in Pushkar thus making Pushkar an important pilgrimage city for Hindus ]. Return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Pushkar.

DAY 11 :  DRIVE  TO  AJMER  &  TO  JAIPUR  

After breakfast, proceed for a short tour of Ajmer city ( 15 km / 40 minutes ) from Pushkar. Visit Dargah Sharif, Adhai - Din - Ka Jhonpra and the museum. Later, drive towards Jaipur ( 138 km / 4 hours).  Upon arrival in Jaipur , check into the hotel.
Rest of the evening is free at your leisure. Overnight  at  hotel  in  Jaipur.

DAY 12 :  EXCURSION  IN   JAIPUR 

After breakfast , proceed  for  the visit to  the  “Amber Fort “. The highlight of the tour is an elephant ride up the hill at the Fort . In the afternoon, take a tour to “ pink city” . Visit the Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace).  Also see the Observatory and the City Palace, which houses an excellent collection of Rajasthani costumes, miniatures and an armoury of Rajput weapons.  Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 13 :  DRIVE  TO  FATEHAPUR  SIKRI  &   TO   AGRA 

Today , after breakfast , leave Jaipur and drive  (207 km / 4 Hours ) to Fatehpur Sikri (1574AD) . Visit the red stone Mosques, courtyards and the Palace , where Akbar once played chess using slave girls as pawns.   Later, continue the driving journey towards Agra city ( 36 km/ 1 Hour ).  Upon arrival in Agra, check into the hotel. After some rest , proceed for the  visit to the
world's  greatest  monument of love -  ' Taj Mahal '.  Return to hotel. Overnight in Agra.

DAY 14 : DRIVE  TO  NEW DELHI 

After breakfast , take a morning tour of city  incorporates a visit to  “Agra Fort “ and  the tomb of  " Itmad-Ud-Daulah" . Later, in the  afternoon drive to New Delhi ( 220 km / 3.5 hours).  Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

DAY 15 :  DEPARTURE  FLIGHT  TO  ONWARD  DESTINATION 

After breakfast , Morning full day combined city tour of Old and New Delhi covering Red Fort, Jama Mosque, Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House and Bahai (Lotus ) Temple. Evening, transfer to the international airport for flight back home.

INDIA  VISA 

Entering  India : 

Foreign Nationals desirous of coming into India are required to possess a valid passport of their country and a valid Indian Visa.

Foreign nationals desirous of  coming into India are required to possess a valid passport of their country and  a valid Indian Visa. There is no provision of “Visa on Arrival” in India and no fee is  charged for immigration facilities at the  airports. Foreign passengers should ensure that they are in  possession of valid Indian visa before they start their journey to India except nationals of Nepal and Bhutan who do not require visa to enter India.

The  consular passport   and  visa division of the ministry of external affairs is responsible for issuance of Indian visas to the foreign nationals for their visit for various purposes. This facility is granted through various Indian missions abroad.

Tourist  Visa : This visa  is  normally granted for  a period of six months. The applicant is required to produce/submit documents in proof of his financial standing. Tourist visas are non extendible and non – convertible. 

 

Business Visa : This visa is normally granted for one or more years with multiple  entries. A letter from the sponsoring organization indicating nature of business , probable duration of stay , places and organizations to be visited incorporating therein a guarantee to meet maintenance expenses, etc should accompany the  application .

Transit Visa : This visa is issued for a maximum period of 15 – days with single / double entry facilities . Transit visa can’t  be  obtained from immigration counters at ports of entry in India. Transit visa is non – extendable in India.

Conference Visa : This  visa is  issued for attending conferences / seminars / meetings in India . Along with the application you are required to submit a letter of invitation from the organizer of the mission.

IMMIGRATION :

There  is no provision of “Visa on Arrival” in India and no fee is  charged for immigration facilities at the  airports. However, there is a  provision of granting TLF ( Temporary Landing Facility)/ TLP ( Temporary Landing Permit ) to allow entry of foreigners arriving in emergent situations like death / serious illness in the  family , without an Indian visa on cash payment of US$ 40.00

This  facility can also be extended to transiting foreigners having confirmed onward journey tickets within 72 hours. Apart  from this , foreign tourists  in groups of four or more arriving by air or sea, sponsored by recognized Indian Travel Agencies and with a pre-drawn itinerary can be granted collective  landing permit for a specified period of time on the written request of the Travel Agencies to the Immigration.
