DAY ITINERARY :-
Monumental Zones :- Boudhnath Stupa , Pashupatinath Temple & Bhaktapur Durbar Square
DAY 01 :: MEET YOUR GUIDE AT HOTEL LOBBY & PROCEED FOR A DAY EXCURSION
At around 09:00 AM , your tour guide will meet & greet you at your hotel’s reception. After a brief introduction on a day return city tour program, a private vehicle will transfer you towards the 1st monumental site from your hotel.
-- Take a visit to Boudhnath Stupa – the largest ever existed dome shaped white colored Buddhist shrine situated to the eastern suburban area of Kathmandu.
-- After that proceed a drive toward Pashupatinath Temple , situated to the east of city and near the international airport of Kathmandu.
-- [ If you desire for a rest for 01 hour so that you could take a mid day lunch then your guide will assist you to get a good touristic restaurant within the monumental zone. This is an optional suggestion only. You may skip this too & just keep on continuing the excursion with your guide. ]
-- Finally , move on to the 3rd site – Bhaktapur Durbar Square , located to further eastern part of the international airport in Kathmandu.
After the excursion, you guide will drop off you to your hotel.

-- The “Tribhuvan International Airport “ ( TIA ) is the only international airport of Nepal from where the Immigration Office grants
the Tourist Visa on Arrival for the tourists flying to Nepal .
-- Though you can expect some queues during peak Tourist season, the “On Arrival ' visa procedure is very quick and simple.
-- If you wish to skip those queues, you can also consider getting Visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions stationed abroad prior to your arrival.
-- If you have obtained visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions in abroad , then you must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter into Nepal.
-- Visas obtained on Arrival at the Entry and Exit points are 'Tourist Visas'. They bear multiple Re entry facility. Tourist Visa 'On Arrival' is the only entry visa to Nepal.

Visa Extension Fee ::
-- Tourist visa extension is done for minimum 15 days with USD 45 and USD 3 per day for additional days. In the case
of delay less than 150 days additional USD 5 per day as late fine.
-- Contact Department of Immigration for extending your visa or changing the category of your visa.
-- Tourist Visa extension can be done from Immigration Office, Pokhara too.
-- Non tourist visa extension can be done only at Department of Immigration (if eligible) for a period of maximum one
year (except business visa).

BOUDHANATH STUPA :
-- This is the one of the biggest Buddhist
shrine that exists in the world and was constructed in the 5th century by
prince Manadeva of
the Licchavi dynasty.
It is located to the north-eastern part of Kathmandu and is also one of
the world heritage sites in Kathmandu.
-- The white dome structure with a spire pinnacle above it , is the largest Stupa in the whole of Nepal. The monument is the
great pilgrimage center
for all the Buddhists and specially for the Tibetan refugees living in
Kathmandu.
-- Surrounded by several “Tibetan
Monasteries“ & the private residential
buildings , it gives a distinct charms to the visitors as the
atmosphere of the whole place lightens up with zest
as fragrance of incense drifts
through the air. The sounds from the
prayer drums, chanting
monks and creaking of prayer wheels can
be heard while strolling around the base.
PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE :
-- This oldest Hindu shrine of god “Shiva / Pashupatinath” is
located to the eastern part of Kathmandu, at a minute town called
Deopatan. The temple is famous for its superb architecture and it displays its
grandeur by standing on the banks of the sacred
Bagmati River.
-- Inside the main sanctum is the 1 meter tall “Shivalingam Statue” that represents the deity Shiva & his
consort Parvati in the idol form.
-- The entire periphery of the Shiva
shrine is extende over 265 hectors of land on the bothe side of a holy river
Bagmati where any
visitors are allowed to go around to encounter - the holy men
& sages practicing their YOGA , the
public shelter for the aged people,
the shelter for the pilgrims , the house
for the indigent and the poor people. One will find innumerable shrines both small and large in
size , some are open Hindu altars without roofs and other are votive
shrines all of them dedicated to the
idol form or
anthropomorphic forms of god Shiva.
-- Any
one can have an aerial view of the entire periphery by standing in a terrace over a small hillock
on the other side of the
sacred river. The holy banks of river Bagmati is also very much popular for the cremation of
the Hindu & Buddhist corpses.
-- The day visitors can observe the live cremation during
their visit to this heritage site.
BHAKTAPUR DURBAR
SQUARE :
-- The smallest of the 3 cities that exist in the
valley of Kathmandu is called - Bhaktapur
, meaning the "City of Hindu Devotees”.
-- This traditional town is located to the eastern part of valley and is the home
of the medieval art & architecture that still inherits
the traditional life
style of the local people on its own way.
-- It is situated at an elevation of 1400 meters.
Though almost all of the population here are the farmers, some of them however
are
the ceramic pottery artists and some are
involved in the weaving of the
clothes.

the valley’s 3 cities while walking around here one can feel as if walking in
