ITINERARY

DAY 01  : Arrive in Kathmandu. Be welcomed by our representative & get transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
DAY 02 : Preparation for the expedition. O/N in Kathmandu.
DAY 03 : Briefing in the Ministry of Tourism in Kathmandu. O/N in Kathmandu.
DAY 04 : Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 05 : Trekking to Namche Bazar. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 06 : A days's rest for acclimatization at Namche. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 07 : Trekking to Phortse Tenga. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 08 : Trekking to Macharmo. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 09 : Trekking to Gokyo. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 10 : Trekking to Gyazumba Tsho Lake. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 11 : Trekking to the base camp at the south face of Cho Oyo. O/N at the tent.
DAY 12 - DAY 38 : Climbing period of Mt Cho Oyu (8,201 meters).
DAY 39 : Trekking down to Gokyo Lake. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 40 : Trekking down to Dole. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 41 : Trekking down to Namche Bazaar. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 42 : Trekking down to Lukla. O/N in a lodge.
DAY 43 : Fly to Kathmandu. O/N in Kathmandu.
DAY 44 : A Full day rest in Kathmandu. O/N in Kathmandu.
DAY 45 : Be transferred to the International airport in Kathmandu for boarding the flight to your onward destination.  Farewell to Nepal.

The Cost Includes  ::

-- 05  nights hotel accommodation ( in a Tourist Standard Hotel ) in Kathmandu with breakfast only.
-- All transfers in private car/mini-bus between  airport-hotel-airport in Kathmandu.
-- Climbing Permit  for Cho-Oyu (South Face, Nepal Side) and the National park fees.
-- Air ticket for Kathmandu - Lukla - Kathmandu flight with Cargo fee for  50 KG per member .
-- Porters or Yak porter from Lukla to Base camp & Base camp to Lukla.
-- Trekking with full board meals with lodge accommodation till the Base Camp and in the returning days towards

-- The expedition crew like : the Base Camp Guide , Cook , Kitchen Helper &  Porters during the trekking & expedition till

-- All camping  equipment & kitchen equipment  for the Base Camp, 1 tent for 2 persons, dining tent, toilet tent, table and chairs ,
     mess tent, store tent, mattresses.
-- Staff allowance, Liaison office allowances, equipment allowances, flight ticket & domestic flight insurance.
-- Insurance for Nepalese expedition crew.
-- Emergency Oxygen -Mask and regulator .
-- Satellite phone ( Pay calls ).

-- Farewell dinner in Kathmandu for the foreign expedition team members only.  

The Cost Excludes  ::

In Kathmandu Part  ::
-- All international air tickets to and from Kathmandu and all airport taxes (wherever it is applicable).
-- All Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu.
-- Nepal entry visa and the re-entry visa to Nepal from the Tibet side. ( wherever it is applicable to the climber during the expedition).
-- Air cargo custom clearance duty fee USD 150.00 per person for the expedition goods sent by the climbers to the Kathmandu prior to their arrival in Kathmandu.
-- All expenses of the personal nature , like ; laundry, postage, telephone calls ,bar bills & beverage, camera & photography expenses.
-- The extra nights stay in Kathmandu and other tour activities by the climber, other than the fixed number of nights’ stay as mentioned in the expedition itinerary package above.
-- All other costs of the items that are not mentioned in the cost inclusion section above.

During The Expedition ::

-- All personal climbing gears & the equipments for the climber(s).
-- A climbing Sherpa guide from the Base Camp to the summit & return till the Base Camp.
-- The tents, foods, gas & stove for the High Altitude Camps (above the Base Camp), that would last till the summit
    and return back to the Base Camp. [ for both the climber and for the climbing Sherpa guide ].
-- The Personal Climbing equipment including the oxygen cylinders ( USD 400.00 per cylinder ) & the mask & regulator.
    ( USD 600.00 per set ).
-- The travel insurance & medical insurance that would cover the rescue & evacuation by helicopter for the climber.
-- The permit fee for the personal satellite phone with e-mail & internet facilities.
-- The permit fee for the Walkie-Talkie & Radio set during the expedition.
-- The climbing bonus to Sherpa is USD 1000.00 + Summit bonus USD 500.00 = Total of  USD 1500.00 per sherpa.
-- The expedition filming  permit USD 30,000.00 per camera. ( a small portable camera is free).
-- The Ice fall clearance  fees  (on group cost basis) , during the expedition (wherever it is applicable).
-- Garbage Deposit USD 4,000.00 per one team ( on group cost basis). [ This fee  is refundable after the completion of
   the expedition and only after you would be successful to achieve “the garbage management certificate” from the base
    camp officials after the expedition.].

NEPAL  TOURIST  VISA

-- The “Tribhuvan International Airport “ ( TIA ) is the only international airport of Nepal from where the Immigration Office grants  
    the Tourist Visa on Arrival for the tourists flying to Nepal .
--  Though you can expect some queues during peak Tourist season, the “On Arrival ' visa procedure is very quick and simple.
--  If you wish to skip those queues, you can also consider getting Visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions stationed abroad prior to your arrival.
--  If you have obtained visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions in abroad , then you must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter into Nepal.
--  Visas obtained on Arrival at the Entry and Exit points are 'Tourist Visas'.  They bear multiple Re entry facility. Tourist Visa 'On Arrival' is the only entry visa to Nepal.

Gratis Visa  On arrival  ( Visa for Free )    ::
--  Children below 10 years except US citizens
--   Up to 30 days for SAARC Citizen (except Afghanistan) visiting Nepal for the first time in a given visa Year. 
--   Non Residential Nepalese(NRN) card holder ( issued by MoFA /Nepalese diplomatic missions abroad).
--  Chinese Nationals
--  Officials from China, Brazil, Russia and Thailand do not need Entry Visa based on reciprocal visa waiver Agreement

Visa Extension Fee   ::
--  Tourist visa extension is done for minimum 15 days with USD 45 and USD 3 per day for additional days. In the case of
     delay less than 150 days additional USD 5 per day as late fine.
--  Contact Department of Immigration for extending your visa or changing the category of your visa.
--  Tourist Visa extension can be done from Immigration Office, Pokhara too.
--  Non tourist visa extension can be done only at Department of Immigration (if eligible) for a period of maximum one year
    (except business visa).

IMPORTANT NOTE   ::- 
--   If you are visiting Nepal for the purposes other than Tourism (sightseeing, tour, travel, mountaineering, trekking,   
     visiting friends and families), you should still get ' Tourist Visa' to get into the country. However, you must change the  
     category of  visa as per your purpose and length of stay in Nepal from Department of Immigration by producing
      required documents.
--   Nationals of following countries are requested to acquire Visa prior their arrival from their nearby Diplomatic
     missions  ( Embassies / consulates ) of Nepal Government. (1) Nigeria , (2) Ghana ,  (3) Zimbabwe , (4) Swaziland, 
     (5) Cameroon,  (6) Somalia, (7) Liberia , (8) Ethiopia,  (9) Iraq , (10) Palestine , (11) Afghanistan, (12) Syria .

J  This is a private & a cosy tour in a private vehicle reserved for each individual travelling alone Or a family Or a group therefore this is a very comfortable for the travellers from all age group.

J  All the destinations in this trip are below two thousand meters from the sea level and so is totally free from the risk of the high altitude sickness.
